ERA-Team Youth Antifa Berlin, Germany

The antifa-youth group of Berlin (Jugendantifa Berlin-JAB) is a group of young people being engaged within and around Berlin. The main emphasis of our work lies on the struggle against fascism, racism, nationalism, anti-Semitism and sexism. Besides several events and actions focussing in this, we also want to do educational work to sensitize especially young people for the problems of society. In times in which neo-Nazis increasingly carry their terror and contempt for humanity onto the streets, it is important to us to keep the past alive and to learn from it for the future. The efforts of those having resisted against National Socialism are not allowed to fall into oblivion. This was the main reason for us to participate in the project. Apart from that, we of course made many new experiences and learned much during our work.
